Our Commitment to You

Jim Wilson Jim Wilson, Chief Executive Officer
As we celebrate our fifth year of service to east Manatee and Sarasota counties, I'd like to personally thank local community members and business owners for your continued patronage and support. In the past few years we've embraced new technology, opened core departments such as the Breast Health Center and Orthopaedic Center and consistently ranked at the top of our class when it comes to quality care. In addition, Lakewood Ranch is one of 34 medical facilities nationwide to be awarded Modern Healthcare's Best Places to Work designation for two consecutive years. Our commitment to quality care will provide this community with a hospital it can be proud of for many years to come.

Happy Birthday, Lakewood Ranch
Medical Center!

The hospital invited the community to help celebrate five years of service to Manatee and Sarasota counties on September 12. Despite a downpour that moved part of the event inside, there was a big turnout to enjoy good food and fun activities, including sea life; face painting; playing with a Nintendo® WiiTM; a balloon man twisting monkeys and poodles; finger printing and the ask-a-doc table.
